THE CAST
KENNETH O’REGAN
Kenneth studied at The Cork Academy Of Dramatic Art. He qualified with honours in acting under the auspices of The London Academy Of Music & Dramatic Art.
His professional music career began in the chorus of the Cork Operatic Repertory Company where he developed his operatic tenor voice and developed into one of Ireland’s most promising young classical vocalists.
However, he chose to work in musical theatre, where he would get the opportunity to use all aspects of his diverse vocal abilities, and, where he would gain award and recognition for his powerful rock tenor voice.
Kenneth’s theatre credits include, Freddie in Chess; Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar; Che in Evita; Billy in Carousel and Anatoly in Chess.
Kenneth has also performed as lead/front line vocalist on international touring shows, Riverdance, The Three Irish Tenors, Druid and, of course, The Rock Tenors.
ROB VICKERS
Rob puts the “R” in Rock and Roll. He has fronted most of Ireland’s top bands and is no stranger to the Irish & International stage.
For the past 25 years, Rob’s career as a musician, front man and solo artist, has seen him perform in Europe, America and as far away as Australia.
His credentials in Musical Theatre led him to star in Les Miserables where he understudied and performed the iconic principle role of Jean Valjean.
He is an Olivier Awards 2012 cast recipient for the 25th anniversary production of Les Miserables. He starred in this production in London’s West End for over two years .
Rob is an original cast member of The Rock Tenors and has appeared on The Voice Ireland, Eurovision, The Late Late Show and ITV’s Superstar.
CHRIS CURRID
Chris trained in acting with Bull Alley Theatre in Dublin. He began taking singing seriously when he was 15 years old, playing roles in musical societies and breaking into band work and gigging in his late teens.
Musical credits include Michael Collins in Michael Collins A Musical Drama, Judas inJesus Christ Superstar, Robbie in The Wedding Singer and Tommy in The Who’s rock opera, Tommy.
Professional credits include Raglan Road Disney Orlando, Lead Vocalist/Dancer in the World of Musicals (Germany), Prince Charming in Cinderella (Helix), and The Rock Tenors as RT 3 on their European Tour 2019.
THE CREATIVES
KENNETH O’REGAN – Creator, Producer & Musical Director
Kenneth is the creator and producer of The Rock Tenors group and related shows. He is the concept arranger and composer of each show. He designs all the visuals and art work and is musical director, and vocal arranger for the group.
KEVIN WHYMS – Arrangements & Compostion
Kevin is an arranger and composer. He designs the sound of the show as well as recording and producing all audio for The Rock Tenors.
